Relay For Life is a celebration of survivorship – an occasion to express hope and our shared goal to end a disease that threatens the lives of so many people we love.
The American Cancer Society invites you to join the global Relay For Life movement. When you walk to end cancer at a Relay event, it's your opportunity to not only honor cancer survivors and remember loved ones lost, but also to raise awareness about what we can do to stay well from cancer and raise money to help fuel the world's largest walk to end cancer.
Donate Life Northwest invites you to visit the Relay for Life Health Fair, taking place in the Washington County Fair Complex from 2 -4 pm. Stop by our table to learn more about donation, transplantation and registration!

Donate Life Northwest is partnering with the Oregon Bike Race Association to promote organ, eye and tissue donation at this bike race series.
This is Donate Life Northwest's second year at this event, which honors David Oliphant. David was a cornea and tissue donor after he died of sudden cardiac death while racing in 2010. These races honor David, cornea and tissue donor and son of Donate Life Northwest Board Member Doug Oliphant.
The message we promote to the bikers is about how their life might be affected by tissue donation since they may experience a race related and or athletic related injury needing donor tissue.
Registering as a donor is an important way to honor David's gift and sharing your decision to register with your family and friends helps your wishes be known and honored.

What is an Ambassador? Ambassadors are donor families, transplant recipients, transplant families, living donors, and community members--including teachers, students, and health care professionals--who want to actively promote the donor registry and organ, eye, and tissue donation education. An Ambassador is you!
This event will provide further opportunity to learn about our Ambassador Program, our newest volunteer program that aligns with Donate Life America's mission and vision for donation and transplantation education and outreach.

Join us for a day of fun, education and registration in beautiful McMinnville! The 3rd Annual Cadena de Vida (Gift of Life) Festival celebrates donation and transplantation. In addition to music, face painting, games and raffles, attendees can participate in an American Red Cross blood drive and register as an organ, eye and tissue donor through Done Vida / Donate Life Northwest. We are proud that this event is organized by a Donate Life Ambassador, in honor of her brother - a heart transplant recipient.

The World Transplant Games 2013 is being hosted in South Africa in the sunny city of Durban! Recipients who have received life saving organ transplants from more than 55 countries worldwide will compete in various sports in the hopes of winning Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for their country! The games celebrates the triumph of the human spirit and the hope that is behind every transplant.

Calling all bike enthusiasts! It’s time to start training for Sunny’s Pedal, a 650 mile bike ride from Spokane, Washington to Sun Valley, Idaho. Get ready for grueling climbs and breathtaking scenery as you pedal to raise awareness for organ and tissue donation!
Sunny’s Pedal is an event organized by her family. August 18th marks the 20th anniversary of Sunny’s death. She was on her way home to Sun Valley when she died in a car accident at the age of 17. Her family decided to honor her generous spirit by donating her organs and tissue. As her family writes:
Sunny Lebsack was described by many as an "old soul." Kind and generous beyond the normal 17 year old. In life, she was truly the type of person who made the world a better place. This generous act [of donating] helped not only the recipients and their families, but also Sunny's family and friends. Watching Sunny continue to give in death helped with the grieving process.
