Since 2004, the Donate Life Rose Parade Float has served as a memorial to organ and tissue donors and a platform for donor families, living donors and transplant recipients to inspire the world to save and heal those in need through the gift of life.
Each year, the Donate Life float's memorial floragraphs honor deceased organ, eye and tissue donors nationwide. Through these artistic portraits – most of which are decorated by the honorees' family members – we honor them, their families, and donors everywhere.
Donate Life Northwest, Community Tissue Services, Lions Vision Gift and Pacific Northwest Transplant Bank are proud to honor Tyson Lee Schreiber of Alsea, Oregon.

Does cornea donation present a challenge for you during your school or community presentations? Bring your questions and curiosity to tonight's training, which will feature a panel discussion focusing on cornea donation, research and transplant.
We'll hear from experts at Lions Vision Gift, as well as the personal story of a cornea recipient.
School Speakers Bureau members: This is an optional training. Please be sure you have already received the 201 training (Fall / Power Point) training, either in person or online, prior to attending, as we are not reviewing the classroom presentation tools tonight.
Donate Life Ambassadors: You are welcome to attend tonight's panel and learn more about this fascinating subject!
New Volunteers: You are welcome to attend, too! But please note that this is not an introduction to our volunteer program or Donate Life Northwest. To get started as a volunteer, please attend an Ambassador Orientation (see calendar for upcoming dates and to RSVP).
Event details and online RSVP are available on our calendar.

During National Donor Sabbath, faith leaders from many religions, donor families, transplant recipients, and donation and transplantation professionals participate in services and programs to increase awareness of the need for the lifesaving and enhancing gifts passed to others through transplantation and encourage people to sign up in their state registry as organ, eye, tissue, donors
