Únase a nosotros para un día de diversión y educación en la hermosa ciudad de McMinnville! La 3ra Edición de Festival Cadena de Vida celebra la donación y los trasplantes. Además de la musicia, la pintura de la cara, juegos y una rifa, los asistentes podrán participar en una campaña de donación de la Cruz Roja Americana y registrarse como donante de órganos, ojos y tejidos a través de Done Vida / Donate Life Northwest. Estamos orgullosos de que este evento es organizado por la Embajadora de Done Vida, en honor a su hermano - un recipiente de trasplante de corazón.

The World Transplant Games 2013 is being hosted in South Africa in the sunny city of Durban! Recipients who have received life saving organ transplants from more than 55 countries worldwide will compete in various sports in the hopes of winning Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for their country! The games celebrates the triumph of the human spirit and the hope that is behind every transplant.

Calling all bike enthusiasts! It’s time to start training for Sunny’s Pedal, a 650 mile bike ride from Spokane, Washington to Sun Valley, Idaho. Get ready for grueling climbs and breathtaking scenery as you pedal to raise awareness for organ and tissue donation!
Sunny’s Pedal is an event organized by her family. August 18th marks the 20th anniversary of Sunny’s death. She was on her way home to Sun Valley when she died in a car accident at the age of 17. Her family decided to honor her generous spirit by donating her organs and tissue. As her family writes:
Sunny Lebsack was described by many as an "old soul." Kind and generous beyond the normal 17 year old. In life, she was truly the type of person who made the world a better place. This generous act [of donating] helped not only the recipients and their families, but also Sunny's family and friends. Watching Sunny continue to give in death helped with the grieving process.
