Gather for Good

Calling all Friends of Donate Life Northwest to host a Gather for Good party to support Donate Life Northwest's programs promoting organ, eye and tissue donation and registration.

Gather for Good is a new initiative inviting supporters of Donate Life Northwest to host fundraising gatherings in their homes, neighborhoods or communities.  As you plan your celebration consider a way to include Donate Life Northwest in your festivities.

A gathering can be anything from a book club meeting, a dinner party, cocktail party, poker night or a local restaurant promotion!

Gather for Good raises more than \$6,000 each year.  The proceeds from these fundraisers will support our education and outreach programs.

We can provide a variety of resources to help you share Donate Life Northwest’s message such as fact sheets, signage, donation/transplant stories and even a DVD which highlights the importance of organ, eye and tissue donation.

Calendar of Gather for Good Events

December 1-31, 2011: Celebrate the season of giving. In lieu of gifts, ask friends to make contributions to Donate Life Northwest in honor or in memory of a loved one.

February 5, 2012: Host a Super Bowl party and start a pool. Winner splits the pool with Donate Life Northwest.

February 14, 2012: Plan low-cost romantic evening with your sweetheart. Make a pasta dinner, open a \$10 bottle of wine and watch a Netflix movie. Then donate the money you saved not going to a movie or out to dinner to Donate Life Northwest. Show your special someone that you are passionate and charitable!

February 26, 2012: Hold an Oscar party. Participants pay for a ballot. The person to correctly guess the most winners receives a prize. All ballot proceeds can be donated to Donate Life Northwest.
