Programs

The goal of all Donate Life Northwest programs is to motivate people to sign up on the donor registry. A 2009 online poll shows that even though 72% of the U.S. population supports organ, eye and tissue donation for themselves, an average of just 38% have signed up on their state's donor registry. 23% of the population is undecided.

Student Outreach comprises the majority of Donate Life Northwest's program efforts. Individuals 15-29 years old may visit the DMV as many as four times to obtain a driver's permit, license, ID card or renewal license. Each time the DMV will offer them the opportunity to put a "D" for donor on their license.
