Waiting List Numbers

  • 83,302 patients waiting for a kidney transplant. 
  • 15,785 patients waiting for a liver transplant.
  • 1,490 patients waiting for a pancreas transplant.
  • 2,207 patients waiting for a kidney-pancreas transplant.
  • 233  patients waiting for an intestine transplant.
  • 3,087 patients waiting for a heart transplant.
  • 72 patients waiting for a heart-lung transplant.
  • 1,863 patients waiting for a lung transplant.

  • 15,387 kidney (no pancreas) transplants (6,037 living donors)
  • 5,819 liver transplants.
  • 353 pancreas (no kidney) transplants.
  • 779 kidney-pancreas transplant.
  • 169 intestine transplants.
  • 2,028 heart transplants.
  • 26 heart-lung transplants.
  • 1,520 lung transplants.
