Bring your questions and curiosity to this training, which will feature staff members from Lions Vision Gift in a panel discussion focused on cornea donation and transplant.
The gift of sight is something that many people don‘t fully appreciate until they’re faced with the impacts of their own failing sight, or that of their loved ones. Fortunately, sightlessness due to cornea disease or dysfunction is something which can be repaired, and that’s where Lions VisionGift comes in. Find out how LVG is involved in the donation/transplant process: from their Donor Referral Line here in Oregon, working with donor families, to their sight restoring work with surgeons across the globe. Learn how LVG’s work helps to both honor the legacy of loved ones and bring life-restoring sight to those in need.
There will be time alotted for attendees to ask questions of the panel. Registration is required. A Zoom link will be sent out prior to the event. Please note this 201 will be recorded.
This event is free and open to the public.
201 Trainings are dedicated to expanding the skills and knowledge of our Ambassadors. They are open to the general public, including educators, students, health care professionals, community health advocates and media professionals, as well as the local donation community: donor family members, transplant recipients, and those on the waiting list.
