The Threads of Life Quilts are dedicated to the memory of those who gave the gift of life, sight, and mobility. They also celebrate the lives of transplant recipients and offer hope to those awaiting transplants. Each quilt is comprised of individually designed squares created by community members touched by organ, eye, and tissue donation.
The quilts are not only a beautiful and inspiring tribute, but also serve as a thought-provoking testament to the fact that organ, eye, and tissue donation and transplantation transform lives.
If you are interested in making a quilt square, join us at this workshop! We will have all of the tools and supplies that you need to create a square. The workshop will also provide a good chance to connect with others in your community who have had their lives touched by donation and transplantation.
In an effort to prioritize the health and safety of our community members, we ask that you show proof of your vaccination status, everyone wears a mask, practice social distancing, and take other appropriate COVID-19 precautions when attending the workshops.
