Table Captains

Volunteer Table Captains are responsible for bringing new friends and supporters to the November 14, 2019, Lifesavers Breakfast, a wonderful and inspiring introduction to the vibrant Donate Life Northwest community and the lifesaving work we share. This is your chance to help inspire others to do their part and join you in supporting lifesaving Donate Life Northwest education and outreach. In 2018, Table Captains brought about 500 guests - the largest area gathering of the Donate Life community. Let's keep it going in 2019! We have an amazing keynote speaker joining the program this year, and want to share his inspiring message with everyone.

If you are interested in inviting people to this awesome event, please contact Alexis at 503.494.5388 or to sign up as a captain, then review the Table Captain Manual and the guest list form carefully. 


 What is a Table Captain?

Table Captains personally invite guests to the Breakfast, and provide their final confirmed list to Donate Life Northwest at by October 30. Filling a table of 10 is great, but any group you can put together will be most welcome. This is an inclusing gathering where groups and individual RSVPs are combined. 

SPECIAL NOTE FOR THIS YEAR: Because we have such a popular speaker this year, it's possible we could fill all available seats. So, please do give us an early heads up if it looks like you will go much below or much above 10.

Tips on Inviting Guests

Please see all the templates and tips in the Table Captain Manual, then invite folks to join you at your table. Send personalized emails, texts, direct/personal messages; make phone calls; share Facebook posts and the Facebook Event; or even ask in person! Then, reconfirm with everyone shortly before submitting your final list of names and emails on October 30. 

Stay in Touch!

Like and follow Donate Life Northwest on Facebook and from the Lifesavers Breakfast event page -  click "going" (so you'll get updates) and also "share." This is a convenient way to get the event on your friends' radar, but be sure to add your own note when you share, so folks will RSVP directly to you. (Just clicking "going" does not put someone on the guest list.)

As the list deadline approaches, and then close to the event, we'll contact you with important details via email (and possibly by phone). Please ensure we have the best email address and phone for you.
