Addie Neal

Since August 8, 2010, Addie Neal has been able to breathe! She knows how lucky she is to have received this second chance at life after watching her best friend die waiting for the same gift.

Since August 8, 2010, Addie Neal has been able to breathe!  After a lifetime of struggle with Cystic Fibrosis, Addie received a double lung transplant at age 23.  For the first time in five years, she could celebrate her parents’ and brother’s birthdays at home instead of in the hospital.

Every day, Addie is grateful to be alive and share fun times with friends and family. Addie looks forward to a future career and to having a family. She knows how lucky she is to have received this second chance at life after watching her best friend die waiting for the same gift.

Addie shares her story and newfound energy at every opportunity by volunteering for Donate Life Northwest and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Donate Life Northwest urges people to designate themselves as a donor. Code your driver's license as donor, sign up on line at donatelifenw.org, or call 503.494.7888 or 1.800.452.1369 for a paper registry form. Please... share your decision with your family!
