Quilt Square Workshop - Jackson County

Registration is closed for this event

This workshop is an opportunity for those with no quilting experience to gain guidance in creating their square, as well as to meet our community of volunteers.

Ordinary people with extraordinary stories of inspiration, hope and courage create quilt squares as a means of sharing their story and spreading the word about the critical need for and benefits of organ, eye, and tissue donation.

Each year in April, during National Donate Life month, Donate Life Northwest unveils a new Threads of Life Quilt. The quilts are dedicated to the memory of those who gave the gift of life, sight and mobility. They also celebrate the lives of transplant recipients and offer hope to those awaiting transplant.  Each quilt is comprised of individually-designed squares created by people touched by organ, eye, and tissue donation.

The quilts are not only a beautiful and inspiring tribute, but also serve as a thought-provoking testament to the fact that organ, eye, and tissue donation and transplantation transform lives.

Come out to this Jackson County area workshop being hosted at the home of one of our fabulous volunteers, Kelly Reid. The addrressof the workshop is 1011 Juanita Way, Central Point, OR 97502 (MAP). This is a family friendly event, please feel free to bring your children,
