Lifesavers Breakfast
Join Donate Life Northwest for the annual Lifesavers Breakfast, a special morning celebrating the incredible impact of organ, eye, and tissue donation. Hear inspiring stories from members of our community, learn more about our lifesaving work, and connect with others who believe in the power of giving hope and saving lives.

Meet Our Keynote Speaker: Amrita Mahesh, DO
We’re excited to welcome Amrita Mahesh, DO as the keynote speaker for this year’s Donate Life Northwest Lifesavers Breakfast.
Dr. Mahesh brings a unique perspective to this year’s Breakfast as a kidney transplant physician and someone whose life has been personally touched by organ donation and transplantation.
This year's breakfast occurs on Día de Muertos. Our theme celebrates what this day represents - light, remembrance and the idea that the people we've lost continue to guide and nourish the living. It's a natural frame for organ, eye and tissue donation: the belief that life, love and legacy carry forward through the people whose lives were saved. Dr. Mahesh will share her story and help us reflect on the incredible connections between donors, recipients, families, and the medical community.
We’re honored to have Dr. Mahesh join us and share her voice as we come together to remember those whose gifts live on, celebrate transplant recipients, and recognize the families and communities who make Donate Life Northwest’s mission possible.

Dia de Muertos
Help Us Create Our Ofrenda
As part of this year’s Breakfast, we will have a Día de Muertos Ofrenda, a special space to celebrate loved ones who have passed away, as well as those whose lives have been connected to donation and transplantation. We invite you to contribute to the ofrenda by sharing a photo and tribute in honor of a loved one or honoree. Together, these photos and stories will help us celebrate the lives, love, and legacies that continue to inspire us.
The photos submitted will be featured as part of the ofrenda and shared during the Lifesavers Breakfast on November 2, 2026.
Submissions are open through Friday, October 16, 2026, so we have time to prepare the ofrenda for the Breakfast. This is an opportunity to celebrate the lives we carry with us and the legacies that live on. Submit your photo and tribute, here.

What Does a Table Captain Do?
It’s simple! As a Table Captain, you will:
- Invite guests to join you at the Lifesavers Breakfast.
- Encourage your guests to attend and experience the morning with you.
- Share information about Donate Life Northwest and the impact of donation and transplantation.
- Help us fill tables with people who care about making a difference.
You don’t need to be a fundraising expert or know a room full of people. If you can invite a few friends, family members, coworkers, or community connections, you can be a Table Captain!
