Executive Director Transition

Dear Donate Life Northwest Community,

It is with mixed emotions that I am writing to announce that, after more than seven years with Donate Life Northwest, I will be transitioning out of my role as executive director by the end of 2021. I leave on the best of terms with a solid volunteer board of directors, a stellar staff, and an incredible community passionate about the mission of saving lives and improving health through the promotion of organ, eye, and tissue donation.

I am extremely proud of all that the Donate Life Northwest community has accomplished during the past seven years, and hold dear to my heart the relationships I’ve built during my time as executive director.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to all who have been part of the Donate Life Northwest mission during more than 45 years of groundbreaking work. Thanks to you, this community and our shared work are strong and vibrant, and you continue to help lead the way for the rest of the country. I have been so honored to serve as a leader for this incredible organization, and will always be part of the community championing this vital mission.

Over the next several months, the leadership volunteers of the Donate Life Northwest Board of Directors will be conducting a thorough search to find your next executive director, and I am committed to making this a smooth transition. Please take a moment to read this announcement from Kelly Laschkewitsch, Board Chair, with details of my departure.

I will miss all of you immensely, but I will always be a part of the Donate Life Northwest community. I look forward to seeing you all at the Lifesavers Breakfast on November 13th!

With Gratitude,

Leslie
