Community-Led Groups
Proposed by our community for our community, the goal of Community-Led Groups (CLGs) is to let the community's voice and interest develop initiatives. CLGs are organized by community members living in Oregon and SW Washington. CLGs must have a connection to the mission of Donate Life Northwest, whether as an advocacy group or as a special project.
CLGs will work with DLNW to define their own governance and structure— they may be informal entities that have minimal governance set in place, or formally established groups. At a minimum, CLGs must have the following:
- A liaison to DLNW who has been certified as a volunteer with DLNW
- A meeting schedule
- Major objectives/goals for the group
- Clearly articulated request for support from DLNW
Donate Life Northwest is able to provide support for these Community-Led Groups in a variety of ways including:
- Financial Support
- Administrative Support
- Fiscal Sponsorship
- Social Media
- Press Releases
- Educational Materials and SWAG
- Volunteer Training
